Camp Oliver is located 45 miles east of San Diego in a beautiful mountainous setting in the Cleveland National Forest. We have five one-week sessions for campers ages 6-12 and one one-week session for teen campers ages 13-16. Our mission at Camp Oliver is to provide all of our campers with a safe caring environment so they can appreciate and value themselves, others, and the natural world around them. Because Camp Oliver has remained a small camp, we have excellent camper to staff ratios (4-1). This allows our campers to receive value-based attention from our professional, well-trained staff. Our activities include arts & crafts, archery, campfires, dance, drama, field sports, hiking, nature programs, and swimming. Our program is designed not only to be fun, but also to promote friendship, leadership skills, self-esteem, an appreciation of nature, and lasting memories. Camp Oliver is accredited by the American Camp Association. Financial assistance is available. |
